As a carpenter’s daughter my father had us work with subcontractors to build our farmhouse. From then on, I would go to job sites with him, learning and participating. Since then, I joined my church on a mission trips’ to Mexico to build a church there. My husband and I remodeled our previous homes and built a few decks. I love seeing a project to the end and then sit back and marvel at it. The hard work poured into the project becomes a blessing for someone to love and enjoy.
